Typephoon Typographic Exhibition
Exhibition Identity for the Typephoon, Typographic installation exhibition. The exhibition includes a series of guest typographical artists, cartoons, installation art, alphabetical meals, workshops, documentaries and talks for your appreciation; the curatorial theme based on the most simply constituted of visual elements - “text” - thus taking us on a diving expedition into the unexplored depths of the relations between visual awareness and cultural significations.
瘋字形－文化字決，創意文字展
文字的字體結構、筆劃特徵與造型的美感，傳遞著一個民族自古以來的文化習性與意涵，因應數位時代發展，藉由電腦與網路的快速傳播，深具民族文化特色的字學 (Typography) 成為當今全球最受注目的文化美感議題，瘋字形－文字藝術創作展，名稱源自於亞太地區特有的熱帶氣旋“颱風 Typhoon”，以最基本的視覺構成元素“文字”作為主題性策展，邀請近十六位在不同領域的創作者，利用文字包括漢字或英文為創作媒材，從文字解構、組合再匯入美學的思考，以有限的實體空間展出產生不同文字、不同領域、不同觀點的深度對話。展覽內容包括動畫、裝置藝術、紀錄片、平面設計、字母餐、工作坊與講座等活動，自11月24日至12月16日於URS21中山創意基地2F聯合展出。
