Chen Li, "Map of Utopia"
A map to a place that doesn't exist.
The album's biggest feature is its collaboration with poet Xi Chuan. Together they explore fate, humanity, and our place in the universe — contrasting the vast and the tiny to capture how brief and small a life really is.

Musically, philosophy and poetry intertwine, blending old and new, East and West, to lead listeners down a hazy path toward "Utopia."

The visual design works like a fake geography toolkit — maps, instruments, and references drawn from astronomy, archaeology, biology, and cartography, all used to chart a place that isn't real. These rational, scientific images clash deliberately with the album's abstract lyrics, creating tension between fact and fantasy, and inviting listeners to piece together their own path through the imagined territory.

As Xi Chuan writes: "only the imagination that shouldn't exist is true imagination." The album is a journey through nothingness, pointing listeners toward their own true north.
